IDC with Florida Keys Dive Center

As an instructor with another agency, I recently completed a crossover IDC with Florida Keys Dive Center. The entire staff makes you feel like family from the moment you walk in the door. Everyone was knowledgeable of the entire operation and bent over backwards to help with everything. The two course directors, Jason and Bert, were outstanding. They made the process painless and FUN. They instilled confidence in all candidates with their professionalism. During the IDC, there was even time built in for a pleasure dive aboard the Big Dipper. Their skill and knowledge of the PADI system made the crossover easy and simple. By the end of the IDC, you felt confident as the IE approached. The days were long, the evenings studying even longer, but the rewards were worth it!!! Many thanks to Jason, Bert and the entire staff at Florida Keys Dive Center for an outstanding experience in a warm friendly environment.

Scuba Diving Charter – Manatee sighting

Hello,

I wanted to thank all the staff and crew for a terrific morning charter on Sunday. We had a wonderful time diving the Eagle and a lovely reef. Then back at the dock we had the luck of watching your local manatee drink water from a hose. That was such a nice surprise bonus to the trip.

Thanks so much for the fun time; we will definitely be back.

Diver Instructor Joe Rocks!!

My wife & I completed our 4 open water dives this week to complete our open water scuba cert. YAHOO!!! I am a stroke survivor, with some physical challenges, Joe very patiently reviewed all the required skills and guided us along the course to this very significant achievement! He was challenged with my limitations, and met every hurdle with his great CAN DO ATTITUDE. Considering the amount of skills testing we covered, I never felt rushed or hurried. Capt Greg was very helpful with the water entries & exits, and his local knowledge was very informative. We were lucky that the other students on the boat were good people. Thanks, buddies! & we wish Florida Keys Dive Center!

I would just like to take the time to say Thank You to the entire Staff at the Store. It was great to get back and see the place and each and every staff member was very helpful and enjoyable to talk with. My wife and I had a great time because of each of you. Wreck and Nitrox PADI Certifications

My son and I recently completed our wreck and Nitrox PADI certifications with Joe. He is an excellent instructor and thorougly reviewed all of the required skills. We had a great time diving on the Spiegel Grove, Duane, Eagle and Benwood, as well as the reefs. The staff and crew at Florida Keys Dive Center are a great group and very safety orientated. You will not be disappointed!

Alan Kalis – Great well run dive shop

Wanted to provided a quick thank you especially to Captain Greg and John (mate and divemaster) for a very professional job well done. We had 8 dives over 2 days with you folks and of all the dive experiences I’ve had in the Keys, this was the best. From the dive shop personnel, the reasonable prices, the flexibility in the dive sites, to the first class dive boats (the 46′ size really helped when the seas were 5-7′ at the Duane) top shelf operation. Highly recommend them to any and all. We saw first hand how John handled the Advanced class on the Duane, and a newbie doing her checkout dives. He’s very good. I learned quite a lot from Captain Greg on reef formation and what the weather and wave action has done to the various sites over the years. Not sure how he gets to all those sites without GPS, but with 27 yrs on the water, he knows them quite well.

Hope to use them again soon, because there is no reason to go anywhere else.
